3 Scope of Services
Fide Insurance provides insurance, risk-mitigation, and advisory services primarily focused on:
3.1 Investment Protection
Insurance coverage for regulated investment accounts, portfolios, and instruments, subject to eligibility, underwriting, and policy-specific limitations.
3.2 Capital & Corporate Fund Protection
Structured coverage for corporate, institutional, and high-net-worth capital, provided the funds are legitimate, documented, and verifiable in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
3.3 Recoverable Online Fraud Cases
Insurance or risk-coverage structures in relation to losses caused by online fraud, scams, cyber-incidents, or similar events, limited strictly to cases where:
- the flow of funds is technically traceable;
- there is realistic potential for recovery;
- the case meets KYC and AML standards;
- and the client provides full, accurate, and verifiable documentation.
3.4 Advisory & Risk Assessment
Non-binding assessments, consultations, and opinions regarding eligibility, risk exposure, and capital protection strategies. All such assessments remain subject to further verification and do not, in themselves, constitute a binding offer of coverage.
4 No Guarantee of Coverage or Outcome
Submitting a request via our Website, email, or appointment form does not:
- create an insurance contract;
- bind Fide Insurance to provide coverage;
- guarantee recovery of lost funds;
- guarantee acceptance of any claim or case.
Insurance coverage is granted only when a specific policy has been underwritten and a formal policy document is duly issued and signed (physically or electronically) by both the client and Fide Insurance UAB.
5 Eligibility & Client Responsibilities
Access to certain services, assessments, or insurance products may be restricted to clients who meet specific eligibility criteria. You may be required to:
5.1 Identity Verification (KYC)
Provide valid identification documents, proof of residence, and any additional data required by law for client due diligence.
5.2 Source-of-Funds Verification
Provide sufficient documentation evidencing:
- the lawful origin of funds;
- relevant banking or transaction history;
- exchange or platform statements;
- wallet ownership (for digital assets), where applicable;
- supporting contracts or agreements, where relevant.
5.3 Traceability Requirements
In fraud-related or scam-related cases, you may be asked to submit:
- transaction IDs or hashes;
- payment confirmations and account statements;
- communications with platforms or counterparties;
- details of the receiving institutions or wallets.
5.4 Duty of Cooperation
By using our services, you agree to:
- provide information that is accurate, complete, and not misleading;
- cooperate with KYC/AML checks and requests for clarification;
- respond within reasonable timeframes;
- inform Fide Insurance of any material changes affecting your case.
Fide Insurance reserves the right to decline or terminate services if fraud, misrepresentation, refusal to cooperate, or regulatory constraints are identified.
6 Risk Disclosure
You acknowledge that insurance and risk-mitigation services inherently involve uncertainty and that:
6.1 No Guaranteed Recovery
Even in cases where funds are traceable, successful recovery or indemnification may depend on third-party cooperation, regulatory decisions, judicial processes, technical feasibility, and other external factors beyond the control of Fide Insurance.
6.2 Regulatory & Jurisdictional Limits
Certain jurisdictions may not recognize or enforce claims, insurance structures, or recovery attempts. Coverage may be restricted or unavailable in high-risk or sanctioned jurisdictions.
6.3 Market & Volatility
For assets exposed to market volatility, including digital assets and investments, any coverage may be limited to components expressly defined in the policy. Policy wording shall prevail over any general information on the Website.
6.4 Exclusions
Coverage may be fully excluded for:
- funds of criminal origin;
- transactions linked to prohibited activities or sanctions;
- cases lacking sufficient documentation or cooperation;
- any scenario explicitly excluded by the insurance policy.
